About Me
Shanmuga Priyan: Now as a healthcare business strategy leader helping large corporate hospitals with handling operations, I can’t help but think back to 1996 when I started as a microbiologist at Tamil Nadu Hospital – a journey that my past self would find hard to fathom.
Achievements
1996 - 2001
Stepped into the role of Microbiologist, at Tamil Nadu Hospital, under the mentorship of Dr. Rathi Lawrence, CE.
2001- 2007
Took on the responsibility of Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) at JSP Hospital, contributing to its growth from 30 to 76 beds.
2007 - 2011
Was honoured as the best performer, rewarded with a sleek new laptop which is notable in the 2000s. As an administrator at Parvathy Hospital, I witnessed the hospital bed’s capacity double (50 - 100), underscoring our commitment.
2011- 2015
From assistant manager at Vasan HealthCare Private Limited to Head of Operations at Fortis Healthcare, my career took a significant leap.
Same year I was humbled to receive the “Ownership award” for my leadership, by Malvinder Mohan Singh, the chairman of Fortis Healthcare.
2020 - 2023
These 3 years, I took on the responsibility of Chief strategist at JOGO Health, South East Asia, where I was heavily involved in strengthening stakeholder relations, resource management and finance management.
